Jennifer's Bio
Hello, I am Jennifer Schreiner, a practicing BCBA, LBA, and Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (LCP). I have been practicing since 2008 as a Master Level Psychologist after graduating from Pittsburg State University. My first job as a Master level Psychologist was with a mental health center where I started a social skills group for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I worked with many individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder during my early career and thoroughly enjoyed it. In 2016 I took coursework from Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training to become an Autism Specialist. Later in 2016, I decided to go back and enroll with the University of West Florida and took graduate-level coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis to become nationally certified. I completed the coursework in 2018 and received the Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in 2020. During my career in mental health centers, I have started two ABA programs to provide ABA services while simultaneously providing mental health services to clients. I continue to work with various agencies to educate staff and administrators about the importance of ABA work within mental health programs so they can see that the two services can work together to help the client. Currently, I am the Director of Clinical Outpatient services for a Certified Community Behavior Health Clinic where I continue to disseminate the great work that ABA can do with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and how ABA programs can help mental health providers when everyone communicates and is open with each other. I educate various mental health clinicians and physicians within the communities I serve about what ABA is and how it can help families and individuals.
